Abby Barnes

Abby is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 12 years of experience in helping individuals, couples, and families develop healthier ways of living. Throughout her career, she has treated various issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, trauma, peri and postpartum mood disorders, reproductive trauma and loss, and relational distress (pre-marital, marital, and family).
Abby believes that therapy is a collaborative process between the therapist and the client. One of her primary roles as the therapist is to cultivate a warm, caring environment in which you, the client, feel heard, supported, and understood. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, largely drawing from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and the Gottman Method.
Abby is passionate about helping others find hope and health, and she loves seeing change take place in a person’s life. Brittany Dalton
LPC · Licensed Professional Counselor
Brittany Dalton holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. She became licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia in 2019. She has 10 years of experience in the mental health field and has worked with clients concerning a variety of issues, including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, relational conflicts, spiritual issues, identity issues, adjustment, family issues, codependency, boundary issues, and issues of self-worth. Brittany is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy, as well as concepts from Family Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, and Psychodynamic Theory. It is her passion to work together with clients as they pursue growth and healing.

Jessica Burnette

Jessica offers a warm, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and encouraged. With over a decade of experience, she’s here to walk alongside you as you take steps toward healing and growth.
Jessica earned her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2012 and spent the next 10 years working on the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at Virginia Baptist Hospital. It was during her time at Virginia Baptist Hospital that she developed a deep passion for working with teens and supporting them through the challenges of anxiety, depression, and periods of being emotional overwhelmed. She also loves working with women who feel stuck, anxious, or burned out, helping them reconnect with their sense of peace and purpose.
Lindsey Perkins
LPC · Licensed Professional Counselor
Lindsey holds a master’s degree in Professional Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. To date, her clinical experience includes work in a variety of sectors from community mental health to church-based counseling to private practice. She has a passion for education and has worked as a Clinical Trainer in a Counselor Education program, as well as provides Clinical Supervision for practicum/internship students and Residents in Counseling.
Her areas of competence include attachment, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, EMDR, somatic psychotherapy, codependency, boundary issues, anxiety, depression, grief, childhood trauma and abuse.
She also provides couples counseling. Lindsey uses a variety of counseling approaches and techniques to conceptualize problems and solutions within the self, relationships, and family dynamics. These approaches include Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, motivational interviewing, somatic-based interventions, and other trauma-informed care.
